General Terms and Conditions
Payment, Cancellation and Transfer Policy for all courses
Unless agreed otherwise, all payments must be received within 14 working days of the booking date or prior to the course start date whichever is the earliest. Failure to pay within this time may result in the course place being cancelled subject to the cancellation terms below. Any transfer or cancellation made within 4 weeks of any of the course start dates, will be subject to the charges outlined below.
Cancellations
> 4 weeks’ notice – TSG Training reserves the right to charge an administration fee of up to £50.
2-4 weeks’ notice – 50%.
< 2 weeks notice – 100%.
Transfers
> 4 weeks’ notice – TSG Training reserves the right to charge an administration fee of up to £50.
2-4 weeks’ notice – 25%.
2 weeks – 5 days – 50%.
< 5 days – 100%.
All transfers must be made within 6 months of advising TSG Training, where appropriate. all courses must be sat within 12 months of the original course booking date.
Please note that all onsite courses will incur expenses and any non recoverable expenses for any courses will be charged at cost for all cancellations and reschedules/transfers.
- Exam fees are normally non – refundable and may be charged at cost.
- All cancellations and transfers must be confirmed in writing or the full fee will be payable.
- All cancellation charges are applied at the discretion of the Managing Director.
- We reserve the right to make changes to our terms and conditions and it is the users responsibility to check for updates.
Minimum Numbers Policy
We reserve the right to make alternative arrangements for courses with low numbers, and alternative dates may be offered.
If you have booked a classroom course, you should not make any travel or hotel commitments that cannot be cancelled, before joining instructions are received and the course is confirmed.
TSG Training Guarantee Policy
We’re conscious that embarking on training requires dedication, and choosing the right software testing course for you to fulfil your ambitions can be difficult. If you decide one of our courses does not suit your needs we will give you a full refund, provided you inform us by lunch time on the first day. In addition, if for any reason you do not pass the exam, you can sit on one subsequent course (subject to availability) at our expense. This does not include the exam fee.
Lunch time notification to be given in writing before 12 midday of day one of the course.
Subsequent course attendance in the event of failure will incur an exam only fee and an admin fee of £50+VAT.
Exam re-takes are charged as follow and must be taken within 6 months of your original course date:
- Pearson VUE exams
- BCS ISTQB Foundation level exams £225
- BCS ISTQB Advanced Level exams – £295
Online exams
- BCS ISTQB Foundation level exams £225
- BCS ISTQB Advanced Level exams – £295
Any ‘price match’ will only be met on the production of a written quotation from an accredited training provider. Advertised prices are plus VAT unless stated otherwise.
Course Exams and Vouchers
TSG Training recommends that all ISTQB Advanced exams must be taken within 6 months of attending the course in order that you benefit fully from your classroom learning experience and benefit from the TSG Training gaurantee policy, above. All Pearson Vue exam voucher codes must be booked and taken within the expiry date printed on the voucher at time of issue. Pearson Vue exam voucher code expiry dates are non extendable under any circumstances.
Discounted Training Courses
Any training course booked at a discounted price (below the RRP) must: Be booked online unless otherwise agreed in writing. Discount must be stated at time of booking. Discounts can only be applied when booking directly with TSG Training (no reseller or prior agreed pricing structures apply). Discounts do not apply to reseller prices or other pricing structures already in place.
Refer a Friend
Please send an email to p.jones@tsg-training.co.uk to refer your friend. The friend, making the course booking, must identify who referred them to TSG Training when booking their course. We can then ensure you receive your £50 voucher. Please email p.jones@tsg-training.co.uk TSG Training will issue a £50 Amazon Voucher once your referred friend has paid and sat the course with TSG Training. Amazons voucher T’s and C’s apply. This offer does not apply to company, private on-site courses. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
Exam Indemnity
TSG Training Ltd is a training provider. It is neither involved nor responsible for the examination processes administered by the examination boards.
The contract and obligations for the exam process rest solely with the exam provider and the candidates.
We act as agents on your behalf to arrange exams either at the end of the course or at an exam centre for your convenience and to reduce your course administration overheads. We will assist in communications with the exam provider where necessary.
By undertaking an exam booking through us, you indemnify and hold us harmless with respect to any and all liabilities associated with the third party exam provider.
