Course Overview
The APMG Scrum Product Owner qualification is designed to ensure candidates have sufficient knowledge and understanding of Agile Principles as well as the Scrum Guide. This course will also ensure candidates have a grasp of a multitude of fundamental techniques that are required to meet their accountabilities as described in the Scrum Guide.
What is virtual classroom training?
TSG’s virtual instructor-led training combines the personal teaching experience of a classroom, with the ease and flexibility of a virtual environment. Our virtual courses are interactive and engaging, allowing participants to communicate with both the instructor and each other in a collaborative manner.

Target Audience
This qualification is primarily aimed at individuals wishing to build their competence as a Scrum Product Owner, in preparation for taking on that role or as somebody already in the role who wants to guarantee they are meeting their responsibilities correctly
The Exam
The Scrum Product Owner course prepares you for the examination which includes:
• 50 multiple choice
• Closed book
• 40 minutes
• Pass mark 37 out of 50 (74%)
Learning Objectives
By the end of this course, you should as a minimum be able to recall, recognize and demonstrate understanding of the concepts, roles, events, artefacts and expanded guidance outlined in the text, including terms used, process steps and roles involved. Specifically, Product Owners should be able to demonstrate this understanding in the context of their accountabilities for maximizing the value of the product resulting from the work of the scrum team and effectively managing the product backlog which includes:
• Developing and explicitly communicating the product goal;
• Creating and clearly communicating product backlog items;
• Ordering product backlog items; and,
• Ensuring that the product backlog is transparent, visible and understood.
