TSG’s Pass Protect and Take² exam protection options provide added reassurance if you do not pass first time. Designed to help you resit your exam at a reduced cost, they offer practical support so you can continue your learning journey with greater confidence.

Pass Protect

Pass Protect gives you added reassurance when booking your exam. If your first exam attempt is unsuccessful, you can request an exam resit at no additional cost. Pass Protect must be added when you purchase your course or exam and will appear as a separate item on your order confirmation.

How to claim Pass Protect

Once you have received your official exam result, email a copy to courseadmin@tsg-training.co.uk to request your Pass Protect exam resit. Please include your order reference number from your original invoice so we can process your request.

Pass Protect claims must be submitted within three months of your original exam date.

After your resit voucher has been issued, it will remain valid for 12 months, giving you time to prepare and book your next exam attempt. Please note that this validity period applies only to the Pass Protect exam voucher and does not extend access to any original eLearning licence purchased.

Terms and conditions

Pass Protect is an add-on service that becomes available only when the initial exam linked to it has a “fail” result, the original course has been completed in full and, for eLearning customers, the required mark in the exam simulator has been achieved
Pass Protect is not transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be redeemed for cash or credit, even if it isn’t eventually used. Candidates must schedule and take the resit exam within 12 months from the date the replacement exam voucher is issued
Pass Protect is exam-specific; it cannot be used for any other offering and is valid only for the exam originally purchased
Failure to show up for a scheduled Pass Protect exam appointment will forfeit your right to use the Pass Protect voucher. If you need to reschedule, please get in touch ahead of your booked exam date to ensure you remain within the terms of this exam resit service

Take²

Take² provides added reassurance if you need another opportunity to sit your exam. Available when purchased alongside your exam, this protection includes one resit for each covered exam and is provided by PeopleCert.

How to claim Take²

If your first exam attempt is unsuccessful, your resit option will be activated once official results have been released. You will receive an email notification explaining how to arrange your resit, which will be made available through your PeopleCert account and candidate profile.

You have six months from the date of your original exam to prepare for and complete your resit.

Please note that this timeframe applies to Take² only and does not extend access to any original eLearning licence purchased.

No. Both Pass Protect and Take² must be selected when you make your original purchase and cannot be added afterwards.

How do I request a Pass Protect resit?
