Prerequisites

There are no prerequisites for attending the course. However, you must pass the Foundation examination before taking the Practitioner.

What is the format of the Change Management Foundation exam?

The Foundation is a closed-book multiple-choice exam consisting of 50 questions. You have 40 minutes to complete the exam and must achieve 50% to pass.  

What is the format of the Practitioner exam?

The Practitioner examination uses objective testing based on a scenario. It is an open-book exam comprising five sections of questions, lasting 2.5 hours, with a required pass mark of 50%.  

How can a Change Management certification support my career?

The certification demonstrates your understanding of recognised change management approaches and your ability to apply practical techniques that support organisational change initiatives. It can strengthen your credibility in change-related roles and help you contribute more effectively to transformation programmes. 

What is the difference between change management and project management?

Project management concentrates on delivering defined outputs and objectives, whereas change management focuses on helping people and organisations adapt to new ways of working introduced through those initiatives. Although closely related, change management concentrates on communication, stakeholder engagement, adoption and sustaining new ways of working, helping organisations realise the intended benefits of change.
