Learn how to build and support efficient Agile teams and programs using SAFe.
During the two-day Leading SAFe® course, attendees will gain the knowledge necessary to lead a Lean-Agile enterprise by leveraging the Scaled Agile Framework® (SAFe), and its underlying principles derived from Lean, systems thinking, Agile development, product development flow, and DevOps. They will discuss the seven competencies needed to become a Lean SAFe Enterprise.

Participants in the class gain insights into mastering Business Agility in order to thrive in the competitive market. They discuss how to establish team and technical agility and organize and re-organize around the flow of value. They also learn and practice the skills for supporting and executing PI Planning events and coordinating multiple Agile Release Trains (ARTs). Participants in the class explore the importance of adopting a customer-centric mindset and design thinking approach to agile product delivery. Learners also develop an understanding for implementing a Lean Portfolio Management function in their enterprise.
Attending the class prepares individuals to take the exam and become a certified SAFe® Agilist(SA).
This two-day tutor-led course, delivered by an accredited SAFe practitioner, includes lectures, exercises and practical work.

This course can be undertaking by anyone interested in SAFe:
- 5+ years of software development experience, and/or involvement with Scrum, testing, business analysis, product, or project management, is recommended.
- Executives & leaders; development, QA, infrastructure management; program and project managers; product & product line management; portfolio managers, PMOs, and process leads; and enterprise, system, and solution architects.

Entry Requirements

The Exam
The examination consists of a closed book, web-based multiple choice exam. Candidates have 90 minutes (1.5 hours) to complete 45 questions, with a score of 34 (76%) required to pass.
