Duration
This is an intensive two-day course that prepares you for the Change Management Practitioner examination. The training is conducted via a virtual training environment. You need to ensure that you can satisfy the technical requirements that can be found on our website. In addition, whilst attending your course, there will also be some examination preparation evening work.
Pre-Requisites
You must first pass the Change Management Foundation exam to sit the Change Management Practitioner exam.

- The cost of the Change Management Practitioner examination (must be taken online via remote proctor within 12 months of purchase)

Important: Please note you will require a copy of the official Change Management manual for the Change Management Practitioner course and exam. This is not included in the cost of the course. Should you wish to purchase the manual you can add it to your shopping cart once you have selected your chosen date.
Materials
For last-minute bookings (10 working days or less before start date), you will be issued with digital materials – this will include all accompanying course materials (usually a workbook) and a manual, if this is included as part of your purchase.
The course materials will be provided in a PDF format and available for download via our virtual platform on the first day of the course. You will need to download and save the materials to your device, so that you can annotate them during the training course.
If you would like to add a manual to your order, this will be sent as a PDF/eBook via email from APMG (ATOBookorders@apmgroup.co.uk), and will only be compatible with Adobe Digital Editions. Therefore you will need to have this installed on your device.

Pre-course
There is mandatory pre-course work that must be undertaken prior to attending this course. You will be sent full instructions approximately three weeks prior to course commencement. In addition, whilst attending your course there will also be some examination preparation evening work.
The Exam
Exams are taken online via remote proctor. Two weeks prior to course commencement, TSG will arrange for an exam voucher to be issued. You then have a choice, you can either:
- Book a suitable time after your virtual classroom event has finished to undertake your exam,
OR
- We currently allocate exam time within the virtual classroom event. So that you can book directly, we will advise you of recommended exam timings as part of the candidate guidance — this is issued three weeks prior to course commencement
Note: You are responsible for booking your own exam. You must pass Foundation prior to taking the Practitioner examination.
Exam Format
You must first pass the Change Management Foundation exam to sit the Change Management Practitioner exam. The exam format for the Practitioner element is as follows:
- Objective testing
- Four questions of 20 marks each
- 40 marks required to pass (out of 80 available) – 50%
- Two and a half hours duration
- Restricted open book – manual only

By the end of this course you will have learnt about:
- Applying appropriate process frameworks to optimally plan and understand organizational change
- A range of organization paradigms with which to understand, support and sustain organizational change processes
- How to properly prepare for an organizational change initiative – such as building an effective change team and offering insights which enhance the team’s performance
- Preparing people for organizational change
- How to be motivational in ways that’s empathetic towards peoples’ roles and personalities
- How to establish a clear framework of roles, skills and activities through which leaders can support and sustain the change process
