TSG has introduced Virtual Learning to help people continue training whilst the Coronavirus remains a threat, and also to meet the needs of a changing market.

What it’s all about: Simple – a virtual classroom is like being in a classroom where students gather, except you will be in your home, office or other place of your choice.

What you need: You’ll need a laptop with sound so that you can join the virtual class with the link we send you.

What you need to do: When you click on the link for the first time you will be prompted to download industrial-strength software from GoToMeeting, the platform we use to deliver virtual learning.

We Supply: A PDF copy of the joining instructions, course manual, a choice of a remotely proctored exam or Pearson Vue exam voucher (where relevant) and everything else you need to participate and enjoy a first-class learning experience.

How does a virtual classroom work? Once you’ve joined the course in GoToMeeting you will be connected with the tutor and join the classroom and other students, just like any other course. You’ll hear the tutor, see the slides and worked exercises. You can chat with the tutor at any time.

Booking: The majority of our courses are now delivered with the choice of classroom or virtual. All you need to do when booking your chosen course is to state your preference, following which we’ll do the rest.

The Exam. The course will fully prepare you for the exam. Ordinarily, we take the exam at the end of a course in the classroom, but with the problems faced as a result of Covid-19 that is not currently possible. However, we are now giving you a choice of a remotely proctored exam, Pearson Vue voucher or the opportunity to come back to us once we have the all clear. With remote proctoring and Pearson Vue exams we give you a voucher that allows to you book an exam on a date, time and location of your own choosing. See more here

Virtual Learning. Only the venue changes. It really is that simple.
